Setting Up Communication With a Viewer- A& w2 W2 K* I9 Q1 p/ v
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between7 M) L% D4 W- g# o1 I5 V P
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre4 [7 _4 V1 b0 V
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.1 `! f s1 |, Y
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

2 C& p& V; Z: E# [2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.8 B: n" \5 D, r3 f( O
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
