Responsibilities include: participating in the design of the evaluation tools; working with customers, designers, and FAEs to help customers with problems and to reproduce problems ; occasionally traveling to customer's sites to demo the evaluation tools and validate that our product works in their application; participating in customer weekly customer conference calls; writing application notes and other technical documentation; gathering competitive data and working with design engineers and marketing to analyze the results. ; V7 d( D7 w0 D) Y/ g. Required:9 z8 u( g' f4 r! c" W
- Minimum of 4-6 years Applications Engineering experience in a product development environment 8 E, R/ C3 w% |8 u- g( P
-Work Independently with least supervision 8 G; L5 V. c) E( k7 o3 h3 o* K
- Work remotely with development and Applications team 4 T9 v. d. E/ B2 \- Proven Applications Engineering skills " Z! J% o& q* h# ^$ I" q
- Knowledge and experience in Linux OS, application or device driver development 2 |( D& H/ u R3 Q
- Experience with TCP/IP networking, Samba, CIFS d5 C2 m9 Z) i& ^( @+ o
- Customer support experience }+ Y' B3 e: B2 u: _$ @: L! |
- Experience with writing documents (data-sheet, application-notes, etc.)
