Setting Up Communication With a Viewer7 i$ D% \& x \8 j+ w
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
4 c* x; c0 z) e$ L/ `( H( kthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
" d/ {# @! o1 c7 r/ k! F. CInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
( _, E5 c" E) ^9 C" qBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
& k% g" u: k0 ]# g: w& gYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
5 q, s- Y* B7 g' n1. Open the viewer.1 k! k3 D- l% u0 J8 I
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
, I8 t' z5 K6 A9 _) ?0 L0 X3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…1 I7 O# R# m ~, s& B7 `1 n9 p. U
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
