( H0 [8 m2 B; i' C7 S0 N5 B(20111028 09:58:31)崑山科技大學創意媒體學院於10月21日至28日，邀請倫敦產品設計師Oscar Diaz至該校視覺傳達設計系碩士班擔任客座教授，主要指導學生以仿生學運用在產品設計上，以崇尚自然的態度創作，讓作品表現手法具獨特創意。

- c2 i$ `, J9 P& E% b# d仿生學是模仿生物的特殊本領的一門科學，籍了解生物的結構和功能原理，來研製新技術，或解決難題。該課程著重於訓練學生觀察自然能力，從自然界中汲取靈感，在短時間內完成一個既實用又有趣的作品，課程大綱分為三部分：觀察、設計與製作，藉由循序漸進的教學過程讓學生們學習如何利用仿生學來進行創作，認識仿生學在當代設計中的廣泛運用。例如：設計師Oscar Diaz所設計的日曆Ink Calendar，以毛細管現象讓墨水漫延到紙張上來顯示日期，只要將起點處的紙條放入該月的墨水瓶中，墨水就會以特定的速度將日期染色，讓使用者知道當天的日期，並表達了時間的流逝。

該課程將仿生學運用到平面設計內，利用觀察及討論讓學生訓練敏銳的觀察力和想像力，因為是西班牙籍的客座教授，學生必須學習如何與教授溝通及表達設計理念，訓練獨立思考與表達的能力；而客座教授利用仿生學結合平面設計，這也是學生們從未接觸過的學習方式。學生們表示，能接觸不同於書本內所認知的平面設計，對此次學習經驗深感獲益良多。

創意媒體學院黃雅玲院長觀察發現，客座教授非常用心對待每一次的課程，並將課程上傳至個人網站，還專門為崑山科大視傳系設一個專題，在他尚未來到台灣時，已經將與課程有關的文章閱讀以及影片演講先行預告同學，希望同學先行閱讀；到崑山科大任教，採一對一面談的教學方式，由此可見他對學生的用心。影片內容介紹環境裡的自然形態，將自然生態運用到設計上，見客座教授不只是讓學生懂設計，更融入保護與觀察環境的概念，讓設計蘊含珍視自然生態資源的使命。

客座教授Oscar Diaz來臺灣不僅只至崑山科大任教，來該校前他已先提前抵台，四處探訪以手感著名的藝術品以及文化創意產業，感受不同文化的創造力，令人佩服他熱愛探索學習的精神。
