· Responsible for overall motor control system solution success, including motor control system analysis, modeling, motor auto tuning and design of motor control systems for applications ranging from home appliance to industrial drives/ S0 }+ V: u) ]4 C7 V2 t
· Working with IC and marketing to define new products ) Z) @& ~& ~3 m* Y) d* G# E q1 B
· Working with application to define/deliver control library within SDK * }2 u0 ], h& a
· Provide customers world class motor control library and motor control reference design
( a* d& p+ j9 t- m. w: P· Testing and validation of motor control system
; H4 L6 F, G" p· Provides technical leadership for projects incorporating complex electromechanical (“Mechatronic”) systems
2 w, V- }- A- a. n· Designs and optimizes simultaneous system performance goals through requirements flow down 9 X0 X7 U, ~& f6 Z/ f6 |8 T$ a
· Effectively integrates all aspects of a design through the use of multi-disciplinary engineering & j8 R7 V' `; [
· Verifies and calibrates motor control characteristics, diagnoses and corrects deficiencies in designs and prototypes3 @0 L* ]0 c) j, ?
· Understands and creates system and subsystem specifications

, N. c( o# I Y. o$ H· Experience with design and analysis of motor control systems.
& x& y& m3 Q# h7 m· Strong computer skills, and knowledge of simulation tools (e.g. Matlab) is required
& j! L4 d. K, U5 p& c) Q. A· Experience with ARM platform is preferred e; S$ P, `- Y$ y! i
· General competency in all core fields (electronics, electromagnetics, computer hardware and software) is preferred/ \7 v' z2 h4 h5 b, I; T
· Background in industrial drive systems is preferred r/ `+ F$ z& w. I ]7 l
· Excellent problem solving techniques
