, n! ~6 `9 C5 V, Q" e  L4 {; ?9 A5 c之前公司有個FAE離職 剛好小弟我有跟他那組的幾個RD合作過
所以之間都不錯 他們就問我有沒有想要來接FAE的位子

* O3 y5 Z+ [6 C- J他們老闆竟然也說 ok  內轉想來就來壓 我一定說ok的 只要他老闆同意讓他來
雖然心裡當然是想 但是FAE是在做什麼我根本不知道
; @) |: [8 A# ]7 p. v只知道要去客戶那邊被定(??  因為小弟只是私立後段的學士而已

AE工作內容：
1.schematic review and design
原廠會提供參考線路及檢查要點，這參考線路通常都是由AE來設計，除此之外客戶
也會修改參考線路，所以還要針對客戶修改的線路加以檢查。
2.layout review
原廠也會提供參考的layout及檢查的要點，例如一些高速的匯流排及電源走線
5 l2 o- t! N7 M/ o8 L' ?- q都要特別注意，常常會影響晶片的性能。
* |) d! L% n# T$ R3.Firmware/Software/Driver development
! s6 w, }7 i/ f8 B現在的IC公司基本上也要提供軟韌體的開發範例，這些範例也是由AE所開發出來的。
% ]% d4 t1 s4 l, j) f4.Training
教育訓練，原廠AE很多機會對代理商及客戶進行產品訓練及展示。有些時候AE也會與
4 N- F2 K" b. G+ g- Zsales/marketing配合到客戶端去推銷產品。
5.Documentation
IC廠會有許多的文件需要撰寫，包含datasheet，使用手冊...等，這些文件也是由AE
所提供出來的。此外也很多機會在一些雜誌及報紙上發表技術文章。

AE所需的技能：
1.學習能力
根據不同的客戶需求，常常需要開發各種不同的應用，因此常常需要學習新的領域。
快速的學習能力會是很重要的一個因素。
2.溝通能力
$ |, `  Z  Z; I2 A不同於R&D，AE有很多的時間是在與別人溝通。對內要與sales, marketing, PM, R&D等
溝通，對外要與客戶的R&D, PM或是合作廠商及代理商等溝通。良好的溝通能力會讓你的
! T6 Z9 I: n& k$ \% H工作事半功倍。
3.語言能力
無論是台灣或是外國的IC廠商，英語能力都是不可或缺的必備能力。無論是聽說讀寫都
會常常使用到。不需要文辭優美文法正確，只要敢說敢講就可。
9 e. K' R& }" \+ i, I4.EQ能力
4 l6 `% T; U9 G) X5 |AE是第一線的作戰人員，常常有機會會受到客戶或是內部的合理或是不合理責難。這時候
" d; ]4 V' u: @0 C& c良好的EQ會是很重要的一個因素。此外不同於R&D，很多案子常常執行到一半就取消，會
常常有做白工的狀況，適時的調適自己的心情也是很重要的。
5.多工及管理能力
) l- U  n* H' i; |通常一個AE同時會要支援數個案子，所以如何有效的管理手上的案子，依照重要性來分配
  {! n9 {7 O2 {3 ?' p時間及資源也是很重要的。

AE的背景與出路：

3 v: l+ }! X+ ], Y. l% W$ G目前觀察到的普遍來說AE的資歷都是比較淺的，很多同事都是在系統廠或是IC廠工作兩到
  |/ |3 o  I3 P$ T三年後轉職過來。如果是國外更是常常看到大學剛畢業就去做AE。以AE的工作性質還蠻適
合新人來試試看。可以了解IC產業的運作模式，及學習到許多新的知識。
3 N2 U. X" y3 z  p出路：
AE的出路很廣，想往技術方面發展可以轉往系統廠或IC廠做software/hardware的R&D，想
3 M0 L+ e/ `) ?* l往行銷方面發展也可以轉去做sales/marketing，想往管理方面發展也可以轉去做PM。而且
AE相對來說認識的人面也會比廣，只要做的好轉職會很容易。

; ]$ t5 o% q5 n一般來說AE的薪水在IC廠內是比較低的，一般來說外商的職缺薪水排名會如下：
sales > marketing >= FAE > AE
3 d. q3 v7 R  n+ x! ~: U不過相對來說外商的AE進入難度也是這些職缺裡面最低的。
